Okay, so I was involved in a hit and run a month or so ago (didn’t know my insurance had lapsed the week prior due to me not updating payment methods with a replacement debit card.. I never check my mail lol.)
My 2010 Taurus Limited that had just barely 90k miles.. has been deemed totaled, not sure if the frame is bent (or to tell if it is) but ALL airbags deployed and it’s got heavy damage to the drivers front side.. (will include some pics.)
I found another twin car, different color and a few cosmetic issues on the rear door panels but whatever, with a bad engine for 800$ (I can talk them down I’m sure). Overall the car seems in good shape minus the blown engine.
My question is this.. how do I tell if MY engine ISNT damaged, and would it be worth a shot to put it into said twin car??
