I was looking at my 2006 Ford Five Hundred and saw a vacuum hose disconnected and in poor condition. I got a new 1/4-inch vacuum hose. The one end mounts on a steel tube under the throttle body pointing towards the front of the car pretty close to the firewall. I had to snake my hand under the throttle body to reach it. Got the vacuum hose on that end. I have no idea where it needs to plug into. I checked all over and can't see any empty vacuum ports. The hose looks like it ends somewhere near the air filter box. The end looks like it was curved 180 degrees at the very end. I thought it was vacuum related to the hvac doors but that works properly. Any ideas?
