Hello! I'm the owner of a 1990 Thunderbird (that I have kept running, still on the road, and looking good) with the automatic review mirror. I'm sure the same ones are in the Tauruses. Does anybody know if these just go bad after a while, and it needs to be entirely replaced? Or is there a fuse that could possibly be bad?
Mine probably stopped working about 15 years ago. I nabbed one off of a junker, but the metal slide is stuck on both of them, and I've been working on it for couple hours now. And just wanted to know if there was a way to test the other one out, or If I should just forget about it because the new ones are several hundred dollars! TIA
